About the function

You are part of the Business Development Team of People Intouch. The following tasks are part of your activities:

  • Together with your team you are responsible for finding, approaching and acquiring international prospects through consultative selling in an agile work environment;
  • Approaching prospects via telephone/Skype, e-mail, and visiting customers domestic and (sometimes) abroad;
  • You contribute to collecting business intelligence (information about the market, customer and competition);
  • You contribute passionately to the positioning of People Intouch as the European knowledge center on misconduct;
  • You are able to set goals (partly formulated by yourself) and to pursue them;
  • You switch frequently and at various levels with the customer: from employee to key-decision makers (board);
  • You are able to perform additional activities that contribute to the business development strategy (events, e-commerce, website management, commercial document management).

Who are you?

You have/are:

  • Full-time available;
  • 1 to 3 years of work experience in a professional organization;
  • HBO (Higher professional education) or WO (Academic degree);
  • Excellent knowledge of English (oral and written). English is the main language at People Intouch;
  • Affinity with integrity and compliance;
  • Experienced with presenting (both online and in person)
  • Creative, inventive, analytical, and critical;
  • A connecter, good listener, communicative, accessible, representative, and a teamplayer;
  • Responsible, driven, result-oriented, and solution-oriented.


Furthermore, it is preferable to have the following characteristics/experiences:

  • Other language skills, such as Swedish, Finnish, Spanish, French, German or Chinese;
  • Knowledge of the Governance, Risk, and Compliance field;
  • Experience with the functioning of large multinationals;
  • Affinity with IT (development, SaaS-Solutions).


A pre-employment screening is part of the application procedure, possibly an assessment can take place. A certificate of conduct (VOG in Dutch) is requested on taking up duties.
