About the function

As Key Account Manager with Axis you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and drive sales within a selected number of key accounts in the Netherlands. Your focus will be on partners with high revenue potential, partners involved in high value projects and potential partners with strong growth potential.

 

It will be your responsibility to outline and implement the business plans for your accounts, making sure to identify key stakeholders in the industry and to create strategic alliances with technology and channel partners. You are an expert in your field (IP video surveillance, access control) and are able to identify the needs of the customer. Part of your role is to select partners that can develop solutions that meet our standards and the customer’s demands.

 

As the professional interface between Axis and your customer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop clear business plans for the selected accounts;
  • Set annual targets on each account and continuously follow up KPI’s;
  • Work closely together with partners, in order to develop the project pipeline and close projects;
  • Make sure that the partners have the necessary product portfolio to sell Axis full range of solutions;
  • Make sure the partners are well trained to sell Axis solutions and that they have participated in Axis Communication Academy;
  • Perform end-user visits together with partners;
  • Carry out marketing activities together with the partners in order to attract new end-user opportunities;
  • Work closely with Axis’ Sales engineers in order to increase the technical knowledge/aspect/ information within the different projects;
  • Actively participate in trade shows, seminars, webinars and other promotional sales activities.

Who are you?

You have several years of experience from a (channel) sales role, combined with a good knowledge of the IT/Telecom or Security industry.  You have a strong technical background, are proactive and able to prioritize.

 

You are a strong communicator, passionate about your work and you can build strategic relationships and influence others. You are self-motivated, a true team-player and structured. You have a sales mentality, focused on results. You consider yourself to be a high achiever who sets high standards. You are open and cooperative. You are able to explain complex matters in an easy way. Fluency in written and spoken Dutch and English is required.

 

Furthermore we think you have the following background:

  • University or equivalent education;
  • 5+ years of experience from working with indirect sales;
  • Excellent presentation – and negotiation skills;
  • Understanding of networking, computer hardware or software equipment.
